It will be priced at around 75 Euros, or $90. A bit high, if you ask me. But completely worth it. I guess this is enough to silence the skeptics. And making the PSP 'brick-proof'? Wow, that's something which will excite everyone. This would obviously lead to more hacks since the hackers can experiment without fearing bricking their PSP.

Yeah, this is a big breakthrough, i doubt sony can stop this now, just imagine 2.7 with homebrew! and you can never brick you psp!

This is pretty cool. Just wondering will you need to solder this beauty, also can anyone do it..or do you need a pro?
The thing that sucks in my opinion is that you have to open up your psp and kill your warranty seal...i was wondering if they had a sort of port connection...that would be better? I dunno. Im not fussy, this is good.

you always have to kill your warranty on every system that can be modded. Who wants some unsightly apparition attached to the outside of you psp? Screw the warranty, give me my mod chip.

my dads a pro solder rer. ill get him to do it.......... i think will get it for defos...
and if it kosts 50 quid then to intall it by a bro would probably kost 15 quid more.....

Think I will stick with my 1.5, don't see the point of paying another 90 bucks for this with the added hassle of getting it fitted when my 1.5 plays everything I want anyway.

The modchip allows for CUSTOM FIRMWARES so yes you can play ISOs on whatever firmware your heart desires.
