Then with DVDFab it locks up and stops half way through VTS_07_3 and doesn't give me any error messages

Go here, and try AnyDVD. It has a 21 day free trial.

I did this movie with Shrink, and AnyDVD running in the background.
Good luck!

datacache,
Welcome to the forum. If you try using AnyDVD as JVC suggested and you still get that error then the disk either has bad scratches or it is a bad mastering press and you need to return it for exchange. That is not a diffficult DVD to do.

I have been using AnyDVD, tried it with shrink and dvdfab both with and without AnyDVD with the same results. It must be a bad disk. It does play though.

Try the AnyDVD ripper. Right click fox head and select Rip video-dvd to HDD.Check remove unreferenced and blank cells. Then open the files with Shrink. Sometimes the AnyDVD ripper will get thru a slightly damaged disc.

If the files rip to the hard drive and have a problem with shrink processing anys.. then you may wanna try Processing the files through VOB Blanker..

or try just opening the main movie.. Something could be wrong within the extras
