if anyone wants get to get linux up and running on their fat ps2 search the sksapps forums. its the debian ps2 disrto w/ the rte. there are requirements for it though:
-harddrive
-ethernet adapter
-usb keyboard
-usb mouse
-way to boot backups

-v7 PS2 (needs new motherboard) w/ dms 4 chip
-i386 w/ 2 80gb hdd dual booting WINXP and DEBIAN 4.0 "ETCH"

yea ive been wanting to try this for ages but just used my second ps2 HDD to put in my new computer so yea... Im planning on picking up a cheap smaller sized HDD and trying it out.
