I am getting this message: DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to read drive "D:" The parameter is incorrect." I have come across this message regularly on various titles. I try to open with DvdFab Decrypter(v.2.9.7.9) and it says "Get Dvd information fail. 4096" What else can i do?

I've done a little research and found that what you likely have is a bad disk. First try cleaning it, then return it for exchange.

As I said before, I have received this error on various titles...from Identity and Cellular to Atlantis and The Black
Cauldron. I even got the same error on 3 different disks of Lonestar State of Mind. I fear its more than just a smudge or scratch or bad press but thanks for the help.

Exception occurred - The Parameter is incorrect

This error can occur in the encoding stage of DVD Shrink. It can occur after ripping a DVD in ISO mode with DVD Decrypter v3.5.4 or lower and opening the DVD by File-->Open Disk Image (Ctrl-I).

A possible solution is:
Rip the DVD again using DVD Decrypter using File Mode, set file mode in decrypter's settings to choose All Files.

Once DVD Decrypter is done, open the video files in DVD Shrink by clicking Open Files tab (Ctrl-O) and browsing to the VIDEO_TS folder created by DVD Decrypter, select the folder to open the files.

Once the files have been opened by shrink, process accordingly.
