Hey guys, need a little help, ive searched on here and on google and have not found anything about the particular problem im having, i have swap magic, and the slide card, no mod chip, and i have a back up copy of Action Replay Max (i have the origonal somewhere, ive bought it and lost it twice rarr) im having a little trouble figuring out the whole little patteren here on how to do this, put in swap magic cd driver disk (the back up AR is on a CD-r) i use my slide card, put in the AR max disk, i find the codes im looking for, then what? it prompts me to enter the correct disk for the codes and click X but my game i need the codes for is a backup copy as well, so should i put in the dvd driver swap magic disk then use the slide card and put in my ps2 backup game(which is on a dvd-r disk) ? doesnt seem like it would still be able to load the codes from AR! i havent tried doing it that way yet because it just doesnt make sense, let me know what i should do or if its even possible to play a backup copy AR with a back up copy PS2 game, thanks so much!
thanks for replying, ive tried it 3 times, i load swap CD version, use slide card, insert ARmax CD version, go to expert mode, select the codes, hit enter, hit eject button when it tells me to make sure the correct disk is inserted, insert swap magic DVD version, loads swap, use slide card, insert ps2 backup DVD, hit X, goes to a black screen and nothing loads. Let me know what im doing wrong, i have two memory cards inserted throughout the whole process, a reg. sony ps2 mem card and a AR mem card (its silver with a blue ar logo on it not sure if its from an older version of ar or not) Thanks hope someone can help! i saw on another post something about using a back up ARMax Evo disk, i havent been able to get a backup made of this, let me know if someone can tell me where i can back it up, thanks!
im asumming that when i hit the eject button when AR tells me to put in the proper disk after selecting my codes, it probably re sets all the codes that are being used to make AR work correctly? maybe im wrong, but the disk is spinning so i cannot use the slide card to insert a disk, and i think that when i hit the eject button to insert the swap magic that is where im having a problem, someone let me know, sorry if im not being too clear, im trying my best to make some sort of sense! let me know if someone knows how to get the disk to stop spinning, or if this even matters or not.
i am having the exact same problem..i have an armax backup and im trying to load another backup..here is what i did..
first loaded Swap magic cd driver..then swapped for armax..expert mode..loaded the codes...then press start to load game with cheats.. eject the tray...put in swap magic dvd disc..the swap with my backup..then press X...but after that my screen goes blank? so can anyone help?
