Need help with DL DVD+R and DVD Decrypter

Ok, I've been struggling with Double Layer for some time now and I'm about ready to pull my hair out. I asked for help in a previous post and tried many of the suggestions with no luck. I've been trying to write with DVD Decrypter using an ISO file. I used DVD Shrink before and got a watchable movie, but the menus were messed up. Now using DVD Decrypter I haven't even been able to create a disk playable in my dvd player, but the disk seems fine watching it on my pc with powerdvd. Could it be my home dvd player or a problem with how I'm doing it?

Welcome to the forum. It might be a blank media compatibility issue w/ the DVD Player. What blank media disks are you using as I have had no problems doing D/L when I use Verbatim. I use DVDDecrypter to read the disk and then DVDD or Imgburn to burn the iso that DVDD creates

I'm using Memorex DL DVD+R disks. They will work on my Toshiba home DVD player when I make back ups with DVD Shrink and Nero, but not DVD Decrypter.

Memorex is about the worst blank media you can use as they have no quality control. BestBuy if you are in the U.S. has the Verbatim D/L on sale each month and the price is less than Memorex. Suggest you try better D/L blank media as that might cure your problem.
