[bold]Why Wont My Computer recognize My Psp Using Windows 98??[/bold]

We have 3 computers but we only use 2 of them well My Computer is running Windows 98, but My MOM's computer is running Windows XP So when I connect my psp to her computer it works the little file box with the folders pop up or whateva but when I decide to try to connect to my computer the box doesnt come up but like if you go to control panel and click on add new hardware it will search or whateva syas "PSP Type A" but its like I dont have enough hard disk or whateva can someone Plzzzzzzzz Help ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope I even Tried lookin under there cause Ussually It will be under Removable Disk But its not

well from what i hear is that there is only one certain type of cord that will work. Sony...i don't know. there are a number of things that could be wrong with it.

1)try formating the stick.

2)try a different port

3)give up and move everything to your moms computer.

1) Im not formatting my memory stick I have evrything on there music videos and so many mp3s

2)Well Ill try but Im sure I have already

3) The Promblem is that my mom uses it for school or something like that and I cnt download anything on her computer.

but do you think I should download my computer to Windows XP?

you could always make a backup of everything on your moms computer.

when you get there go to "My Computer" then go to the Removable file where your psp is at.

once there copy your files over to the desktop.

then click format on your psp.

(make sure that you have a psp file in your psp)

Sorry But I dont even want to risk that idea, I finnaly got just bout everything I want on my psp :) You still have no suggestions like a program that I could download to make my computer recognize my psp?

try search the forums.

i recomend you search for the psp drivers for windows 98 - this may be why your computer cant detect it
