Compressing DivX to fit Dvd+R without corruption

im tryin to compress some of my DivX format movies to put on a Dvd+R. Last time i put 2 movies on a Dvd+R one of cut off in the middle, so please tell me what to do and how to do it properly

Did you burn the divx as data or did you use a program to conert them to be DVD compliant. What program did you use for the conversion? Are you sure the 2 movies would fit in their entirety on the DVD? Did the program give you an option for fitting to one disk or breaking into 2 disks?

What brand and model is your burner. Do you know the firmware version? What brand and speed of media are you using?

For converting to DVD compliant files, there are a lot of programs. Among them are:
