I'm using UMD emulator v0.8.

I've a feeling something else is required, could someone tell me what it is please, and where it should be placed on the PSP.

Kind regards,

Dan

There is a fix. I can't remember where. Just look for like "Coast to Coast Rip kit" or something along those lines. Actually, just go to www.ripkits.net and click on the link at the bottom... the one that leads to ps2nfo. That's where the rip kit is I found. It doesn't rip, but since the PRX files are hidden, this kit tells you how to find the PRX files and either decrypt or replace. Sega OutRun Coast to Coast has a giant .dat file or something like that; this rip tool also extracts all the info so you can look for those PRX files. I've already tried decrypting, so don't bother with that. Replacing is still a viable option tho. I am going to try tonight.

On any ISO, when you drop it into UMDGEN, as long as it says the version number of the ISO is at v2.00 or below, you'll be able to use that ISO (most times) no matter what. (That info is always displayed at the top right of UMDGEN.)

Good luck and I wish myself good luck as well b/c I really wanna play this game very badly! *crosses fingers* It reminds me of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2... with the ferraris and the way the courses look. It looks awesome!

Outrun Coast to Coast doesn't run on 1.5 and it won't for a very long time.

you're right, dude. I just tried that patch kit I was talking about. I tried decrypting the .prx files then using 2.60 Flash0 and Flash1 w/ the RunUMD option in DAXZISO. For my second attempt, I started w/ a fresh ISO and replaced all prx files from coast to coast w/ .prx files from GTA:LCS. (Found all matching PRX Files in GTA except "psmf.prx", which was located in "Infected".) To find the .prx files, I used the kit found at the link below. This is if anyone else wants to try it to see if you get better results.

I look at it like this: If there's a kit for the game, someone must have gotten it to work. :?

Nope, because if they did it would be on every PSP site right now. But it's not.

You never know... Some hackers might have found a way to get it to run, but don't care about the publicity, so they just let you download their ISO and tell you how to hack it when you get it. :?
