I would rip the movie using DVD Fab, then process VTS files through VOB Blanker, then open and process with DVD Shrink.
You could also download the trial version of AnyDVD.

Yeah, that should work just fine.
1. rip with DVDFab Decrypter
2. encode with DVD Shrink
3. burn with Imgburn or DVD Decrypter
4. enjoy your new movie

This also worked for me. Even though I have AnyDVD, I still rip the disc through VOBB just to remove everything that I don't want. Then I proceed with Shrink to compress. Then Decryptor is used to burn.
I won't ever reauthor the disc and just include the main title because I like the extra features and I want a working menu DVD.
Regardless, many of the new Sony movies will produce a "Invalid Navigation Error..." message even with the newest version of AnyDVD running.
When this happens, rip the the disc to the HDD with DVDFab. Then follow what was mentioned before. It works--I know because I did both of these movies this way.

But VOBB is necessary if you wanna blank out everything you don't want AND you want to keep the menus.
And many members use Decryptor to burn since it works in conjunction with Shrink.

Here is the process I went through:
1.) I used PGCedit with the PSL2plugin and used the wizard to go ahead and fire up DVDdecrypter. You don't have to use the wizard but I just felt like it this time. Some settings I made in DVDDecrypter: Turned on logging and changed my CSS settings to "Brute Force -> I/O Key Exchange"
2.) When errors occured while ripping I just hit abort and let it keep going. After everything was done I let PGCEdit generate a PSL file. I then deleted my previous rip and started PGCEdit again and ran the PSL2 plugin wizard.
3.)Before I started the rip I loaded the PSL file I generated earlier. Everything then ripped fine. I let the wizard keep processing everything. I had an error with an IFO file. I think it was VTS_22_0. PGCEdit will complain about it. Make sure to note the name since you will need to open it in the next step.
4.) I opened up this IFO in IFOEdit and did a Mock Strip then copied the fixed files into my rip directory making sure to overwrite the old files.
5.) Opened up PGCEdit again and ran the PSL2 plugin wizard and chose the option of cleaning up the rip. It processed everything and cleaned up some dummy files.
6.) After that I loaded up DVDShrink and proceeded to burn.
Everything seems to be fine with the burn. It plays correctly. This was the same process I used on Freedomland.

The same process usually applies to all their movies (Sony that is). They suck lol.
Something else I've noticed about Sony DVDs: the ones with both widescreen and fullscreen (Freedomland, Dick and Jane, to name two) will always produce the "invalid DVD navigation error." Even after running it through VOBB and then trying to open it with Shrink (AND with AnyDVD running) it'll still produce this message. When this happens with me though, I first rip the entire disc to the HDD with DVDFab and then continue on with my process.
I think I mentioned that already lol sorry.

MR_PINK , I agree. Pretty much all of these new Sony's are acting the same. The messed up file may be a different number but it is always the same type of problem. The way I posted is a little more time consuming , you could probably just replace the files you had to skip to generate the PSL and speed it up a bit. I have had a lot of luck with that method. Only with When a Stranger Calls and Freedomland have I actually had to go into IFOEdit though. All other Sonys would work after the PSL and having PGCEdit rip out some of the crap. I have noticed an occasional navigation strangeness after a successful burn where I would have to go back into PGCEdit and manually fix something while running trace to find its location. DVDFab seems to compensate for a lot of errors and just blow right on through. I have had a good bit of success with it as well. I recall back with RE: Apocalypse I used SuperDVDCopy (I believe that was the name of the prog) for the rip and told it to split the movie into two discs. One was widescreen and one was fullscreen. Both would load up in Shrink fine and the menus would be intact (except obviously whichever version you didn't choose wouldn't navigate anywhere) Since then I have had pretty good luck combining two rips to one DVD and preserving menus using PGCEdit.
I think I have rambled on long enough so I guess I'll shut up now. Just wanted to throw my two cents in again. Hope someone will find it helpful. Always happy to help with questions. Post or PM me and I'll do my best to help you out.
