hi ive got a musical film but in _ts format how can i put it on a dvd to play on my standalone dvd player
also is there a site where all the different formats are
discussed i use nero to burn dvds

Here is a site that discusses what a DVD is and the file formats.

If your file is VIDEO_TS and contains the proper structure which is an IFO,BUP and TS file you should be able to burn it with Nero as long as it is smaller than 4.3g which is the size limit on a single layer DVD. If it is larger then you will need to use either Nero Recode or DVD Shrink to compress your file to fit. Here is a guide on how to use DVD Shrink, you can also get the sw at the same site. Nero will then burn your file.
