first, you have to rip the movie to your hard drive with whatever software you choose. or just copy the dvd's video_ts folder to your hard drive. that will work as well.

second, you have to use a dvd authoring program. i use TSUNAMI-MPEG DVD Author PRO. Nero vision works too. just open the program, choose new project then search for source/file that you want to rebuild. make your own menu using a picture from http://moviegoods.com/ . they have good prints of movie posters.

thats all. i know it may seam overwhelming, but figuring out the software isn't really that hard. there may even be some sort of guide for the program you use on this site here.

hope that works for you..

Try riping it with DVD Shrink then cutting off the beginning "p0rn" then reburning the ISO back to DVD.

I need a little more help in editing moviese e.g lets say I have the movie 8 mile and when the movie places things like for advertising use only is there any program or software which i can use which will help me to remove this? Or at the begging of an english movie may have 2 or 3 paragraphs written in french which is not part of the movie how can i remove this because with DVD Shrink u can only take out parts not just small stuff like that and other programs i used did not do anything like that at all.

That is using an existing DVD that you might have rented or bought and re-editing it to say, move scenes around
