Steve, if u dont know what ur WEP key is, reload ur router software and create a new, and make sure to write it down LOL!!!

no problem steve. Do u still have the cd u used to set up ur router? If u do, reload it and when it comes to the part where u set it up so that others cant leech off ur connection, u will be asked to create a password, so when somebody else tries to get on your connection they will need to enter the password u created. This passwrod is ur WEP key.
EDIT - dont let ublade make u feel dumb, we all started at the bottom:)

How do you know that you have a WEP key? Did you scan for your router, and did it say WEP?

it has three lights on it and it says SBC. ummmm its flat,as in a inch two inches tops and it is bout 8 long and it says 2wire on the side of it. Useful??

yea, i went to some internet site and it said to get my ssid i had to scan for it and i did, then it said WEP where it used to say ,none.

Well try this. Unplug your 2wire thing, then plug it back in and when all 3 of the lights come on in about 2 seconds unplug it again real quick. This might restore the defaults. Then on your PSP go Network settings => Infas. mode=> Select new connection=> title it steve=> Click Scan, tell me what it says!
