alright i have looked all over afterdawn, and all i read is problems with it, now on how to do it or what i need to do it, like what is the reason why u would trick it, see i want the web browser of the 2.0, but i want to keep the 1.5 for homebrews... thanx

i used to have a 1.5 but nothing happened now i have a 2.0 but i can't seem to get it back to a 1.5. I found a message about something like this but i forgot were it was but i'll look for it and post it.

if you have a 1.5 psp...u can use the new program devhook to trick ur psp to thinking its a 2.5...u can use the internet browser as well as play umd's and iso's that require higher firmwares.
research that on this website and on www.pspupdates.com

if you had a program that tricked it to 2.00 try holding the power button up until it shuts off and when u turn it back on, it will be back to 1.5....if you upgraded to 2.00 and want to go back to 1.5 u need the mphdowngrader 1.1 ...research that on this forum...GOOGLE IS AN EXCELLENT SOURCE too..

Yo, XbOx, why don't you use Google your own damn self. You have absolutely no edited by ddp clue as to what your talking about.
As to OnLy download WAB version changer. You PSP has been tricked to say that it's a 2.0 PSP when it's really a 1.5. http://files.pspupdates.qj.net/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,40,1192
Put the 2 folders in your /PSP/GAME folder and then run the program from the GAME menu on your PSP. Change it back to 1.5. You can delete the program off your memory stick after you've changed your version back to 1.5
