Hi there,
Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for a good software to burn ISO images?? I use shrink to compress and then need to burn them. Was using Record Now but am having problems and want to try to see if it is the program or if its the DVD writer.... The writer is a DVR-108 in a Sony Viao, and well i tried updating the firmware but per Sony, they have OEM DVD ROMs that only go to certain firmware. Right now I can only upgrade to version 1.10, but when I google it there is a version 1.20??
Any help/ideas would be great!!

Thanks!! :)

DVD Shrink does not burn iso's. You can also use Nero to burn and iso's.

Imgburn also has an excellent burn engine for ISO images, and it is an upgrade from the DVD Decrypter burn engine.

first upgrade your firmware......

1.20 is here and you just point and click and it will download for you and then run it and follow directions! the firmware update is the first thing you should do.

IMGBurn is great for ISO burns:

I have tried updating the firmware, but it doesnt work. I get some error about the Available Target no found?? And when I contacted Sony they said it was because it was an OEM DVD-RW and you can only update it when Sony has it on their website.

Thanks!! :)
