Has anyone had problems with serenity, using anydvd current version to rip to hard drive, and it says error and just stops at 68 percent, the dvd is new so no scratches.

Tried a forum search, its down and havetn really gotten anywhere with that.

Clean the disk and see if that helps. You shouldn't have a problem with the disk. I use eyeglass cleaning solution and a soft eyeglass cleaning cloth. Wipe from the inside to the outside and not in a circle. Before doing so, inspect the surface for glue droppings or other crusties and if you find any, be careful in removing them. You could also try a different drive if you have one available.

Are you using the AnyDVD ripper, DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter or what program to rip? Try a different program and see if the error repeats.

You should have no trouble doing Serenity with AnyDVD running; use shrink or NeroRecode to rip and burn. I did it with AnyDVD and Recode. No problems.

As garmoon stated that disk is not that hard to copy w/ AnyDVD. laddyboy gave to really good advice also but if that still fails then you might have a bad mastering press and you need to return it for exchange.

Thanks everyone i went and exchanged it for a new copy, no prbs at all anymore. Geesh who would have thought even new dvd would have prbs. :\
