Ok I have a 2.0 psp and I want to downgrade to 1.5 I want to know if there are any major reasons not 2. Because I hear after you downgrade to 1.0 then back to 1.5 its the jap firmware for 1.5 will this cause any problems I have a usa psp? Also will I lose my web browser?

I myself have downgraded my 2.00 to 1.50. It was a great move. I can now play all my back ups off my memstick and homebrew is amazing. If you downgrade yes you will lose your browser but there are homebrew browsers out there. Whatever you do, DO NOT pull the battery out during the downgrade, you will not keep your browser, you may turn your PSP into a brick. I have had no problems and highly recommend downgrading. If you don't sell me your 2.00 PSP!

OK so i started the upgrade and on my screen it says

Patsh succesful, please restart and launch 1.50
Backup old.dat file...
000001E0 index.dat file...


It is stuck there I cant restart it. I hold the power button but nothing happens. I push it up and nothing happens any ideas? I dont want to pull my battery out.

Never mind I got it to 1.50 now and after the downgrade is done can I delete all the files that were necessary for the downgrade.
