I am having trouble finding the main movie on the second disk of the 2 disk set of Pearl Harbor.

Disk one copies fine and then I when I try to use Dcrypter to copy the second part of the movie from the second disk all it brings up are the movie extras.

The movie plays the second half just fine when I go to play it.

I even tried to change the settings under tools/file mode to ALL and it still only copies the extras.

PLEASE HELP!

Hi GETaklu
Your settings in decrypter look right. It's been awhile since I did this one but I either used decrypter and or Shrink.
Try w/ Shrink and see if that brings up the 2nd part of the movie. You can rip with that then set Shrink to burn w/ Decrypter.

editted to add: Are you running anything like DVD43 or AnyDVD also?

This shows the movie files for Disk 2 in Decrypter. You should not have a difficult time with this movie. However, it does have Interactual Player on the disk, make sure this is not a player you installed on your computer, it can cause headaches for some of your burning programs.

Edit If you rip just the movie and ifo files you will get the extras and not the movie, Decrypter is pulling the largest file which is the extras. The movie file on this is only 54 minutes. Better to use Shrink which has no problems with this movie.

Binkie....Yes I am using DVD43

Arniebear....I Guess I don't know how to rip just using Shrink, I have always used Decrypter + Shrink to do my movies before.
Is there a guide for that?

You are right though it does have Interactual player on the disk and it does pop up when you spin it up, but so does the first disk and I had no problem copying it.
Also the screen shot that you posted....the highlighted areas are the exact ones pulling up, it wont pull up the others that you have there.

I am afraid that I am not to savvy when it come to this stuff....I would greatly appreciate it if you could point me to a guide to use.

Here is a guide on using Shrink by itself

http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/BACKUP%20WITH%20SHRINK.pdf

Just use the Open Disk tab and then if all you want is the movie part then use the reauthor tab to pull the movie title, all you will do is drag and drop it on your compilation screen.

You can use Decrypter to rip but you have to do the whole disk, then use Shrink in reauthor and get the movie title. It is only 54 minutes long and is VTS_01 title. Unless you want the whole disk then just use Open Disk and hit backup, or rip the whole disk with Decrypter and then run it through Shrink.

Arniebear,

I did just as the guide instructed and it worked just fine....I used Decrypter & Shrink to burn it and it turned out great.

Thanks again for the help.
