alright guys - this is psp specific an doesn't break the rules (ive checked)
we are currently looking for writers for both the psp and ps3 website.
the role will require searching out news and writing them up for our site, also the uploading of software to the server.
heres the post from the site

STAFF WRITER (PSP)
The applicant MUST be able to spend atleast 2 hours a day - searching out various PSP related News, wirting out the article and then posting it up to the website. including screen shots and personal oppinions if any of the game/homebrew.
You must own a Homebrew Capable PSP, meaning you must have a psp and you MUST be able to play homebrew. otherwise you need not apply
1.5 owners are prefferred but is not needed.
You MUST have good english skills
You Must have good knowledge of the PSP scene
STAFF WRITER (PS3)
Same as above, but,
You must be a soon to be PS3 owner (meaning you going to buy one at launch) you neednt apply if you "might" be buying one.
You must have interest in PS3, homebrew and any cracks/ hacks that may arise.
STAFF WRITER AND DOWNLOAD MANAGER (PSP)
This possition is a bit more technical (well not really but still )
the stafff writer side of this job is a sort of side job - but you will still need to comply to the same rules as the above possitions.
the main role of the applicant, will be do upload programs and homebrew to the server - and then add the downloads to the website.
this may involve editing news stories and adding links to downloads for that specific article.
YOu MUST be able to use a FTP Client - if you dont know what that is you needn't apply
You MUST have access to or know where to find an FTP Client.
You MUst have good english skills and the ability to think on the spot, otherwise you will spend more time thinking and not enought time doing.

we currently are staying with our theme, but...
sayin that RLPSP is looking at a custom php theme - we were of course going to pay for one.
do you know how to and can you create a custom (flash) php theme, pm me with your info and we can discuss - we are always looking to expand our expertise
Ah i wasnt actually thinking of a layout ( i should have stated ) but i was thinking miscallaneous images such as maxconsole has headings for each platform, stuff like that.
As for the coding side of things im not very knowledgable, so i dont think id be able to go further than design itself.
I do also have a little skill in a similar flash programme which can produce amazing banners etc. if you need to advertise or even just to ake people notice it on your site.
Ill do this for free, if needed, of course :)
like i said mate - we were planning on buying one anyways.
im not ruling you out completely if you know flash you would be an exception asset to the site. please go ahead and register at our site. post in the forums and we will discuss there or on a more private basis.

Im applying for the news writer(only). I can use the FTP Client, its OK i guess but i think its easier if i can concentrate on the news aspect. This way it will be more effective from my way.
