hello,
everone out there i am thinking of gething a BenQ 1655 External one

I hAVE The 1655 internal & so far have had Good results with Taiyo Yudens In the DVD+R format & booktyped For Dvd Movie backups But have'nt Done any games yet as I don't have a Ps2 !Not sure how the Gaming programs requimerments would differ from that of backing up movies ! but I Think That the Taiyo Yudens or Verbatims you mentioned would be a Good Start ! Perhaps one of our more astute Game playing members could be of more assistance ? Anyone ? Also with the SolidBurn technology feature of The BENQ you should be assured of the best recording quality with any decent media ! I have an xbox and it loves taiyo yuden, they are simply the best dvd blanks out there. I also have the dw-1655 internal, just got it yesterday to back up dl dvds for my xbox 360. Anyways, taiyo yuden are best fo xbox, ps2, and anything that needs a burnt dvd. Also dont forget to buy +r and booktype em to dvd-rom with the included software qsuite, especially if you want to play backed up games on a Ps2
