I have a V557 and I am have a goal to transfer java games from my cpu to the phone via bluetooth. I have an old bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo and I use the bluetooth adapter to use MPT's with my phone and it works like a champ.
I have downloaded a few java games and a talking clock java program that I'm trying to put on my V557. I don't have any software for my bluetooth. I just plug in the bluetooth adapter into the usb port and it picks up my keyboard, mouse and V557 just fine. I have read extensively on how to transfer games via the OBEX PUSH command, but I don't see this anywhere on my machine and I think this might be due to the fact that I don't have any bluetooth software.
I right click on the .jad file that I wish to send to the phone first.
->send to > bluetooth device
-Next is the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard asking me where to send the file to. I find my cell phone and click next.
-My phone lights up and says "Incoming Transfer:" it lists the file name and says "From: (My computer)" and asks me to Reject or Accept.
I click Accept.
-My computer says the file was successfully sent.
-My phone says "Recieving" and lists the file name. Then it shows a Details screen with the file info. and asks me to Cancel or Download. I choose "Download"
-I am told "Not a signed application. Continue Downloading? No or Yes? I choose Yes.
-Downloading...
-I see the file name a progress bar and a 0%.
-I have left the phone alone for over 20 minutes just to see if it too awhile, but for 196 bytes, it should be instant I would think.
This is where I end up. Please help!
