bought my psp and it was said that it is fw 1.5...as i camed home and opened it it was fw 2.5,i called the store and talked with the guy who sold me the psp...he said that he thought it was r fw 1.5,he said that he will ordesome kindda chip or mother board something and that they will exchange it and than it will be fw 1.5.

is this even possible ???

not for a bit, cause the new psp mod chip was just recenelty announced, take it back and get ur money back, cheaper and easier is u can find a 1.5. The chip will allow to have the same bebfits as a 1.5 psp, but of as right now, id take the 2.5 back.

Did you buy it from an official store? if so they cant do that, if its an online store they may just swap it for you or unlikely change the motherboard..

i bought it from an oficial store...thats why i was so mad that they tricked me...so its not possible to exchange somethin in the psp to get the fw 1.5 ??

An retail store told u that it was a 1.5?? Thats bs, thats some major false advertising. I guess u could swap the motherboard, but i highly doubt what store sold u ur psp would do that.

Thats a new one to me. If u can, take it back and get ur money back, and do a search on Ebay, find a 2.0 for like $150-$175 and downgrade it. 2.5 is not worth owning at this point.
