You can't do any kind of homebrew past version 2.70 and 2.71.
Try to sell ur psp or something or wait for the modchip that supposely is going to come really soon. It will let u have a 1.50 capabilities with the help of the modchip and still have that lame 2.71

I think the easiest thing to do is go to Gamespot or EBgames and buy a used 1.50 and sell your current PSP. I grabbed another used 1.50 there myself yesterday.

It was $179.99, it came to about $192 with tax. I don't see why more people don't do it. Every time I checked the used PSPs at the Gamespot closest to me they had a 1.50 in there.

The other thing i hate about America/Canada is that they add the tax on later...sheesh...have to work out all those percentages and numbers...

Yes USD. I'll probably start putting up USD when I quote prices now for the Canadians reading. I don't know about taxes, but this site is good for convertion the US dollar to all kinds of current and vice versa.

It's physically impossible to create a downgrader for 2.5 and above. Sorry, but it's not because ideas haven't been tried or anything, it's just that it's impossible to do.

u know i live in saudi arabia and the good thing is that there is no taxes. there is a big hyper market here in saudi arabia named GEANT it is selling 1.52 psps for 750 riyals and 1 riyal=$3.75. so that makes it around $200. so anyone on the visit here buy from here. and here u can find 1.5- 2.0 version psps in a large amount.
and here people are soo dumb that hardly anyone would be knowing that we can run games from the ms.

@ hanipani:
How did you learn to speak english so well? I had no idea you live in Saudi Arabia. I wear around my neck a golden dagger from Saudi Arabia. My Uncle got it for me when he was there. Don't get me wrong, it's not big. It's just a little necklace charm thingy doo-dad type dealio. But on my necklace, it's in a sheath and it can be pulled out of the sheath. It's hecka tight!

Thank god, I'm not the only one going crazy. $3.50 times 750 = A helluva lot more that $200.
