No audio on certain special features. Anyone know what this is about and how to remedy it?

Well here's a new twist; DVDFabDecrypter loses the audio on special features but DVDDecrypter does not (with up-to-date AnyDVD in background}.

Backed this up with just AnyDVD 5.9.6.2 (In the backround) and Nero Recode 2 with no trouble at all plays fine."Great Flick" One of the best I'm seen in a couple of years. Try using Nero with AnyDVD quick and easy.:p

You sure you guys aren't mistaken and have a box unchecked/check? Problems like no audio or stuff like that is usually attributed to silly mistakes. We've all done them lol.
I'll probably get this later today. I'll see what's up.
What're the error messages (if any)?

I knew I wasn't doing anything wrong.Turns out 2 of my Verbatims (MCC) were the cause of the failed burns.I already burned it using the 3rd Verb and came out great.

I was going to do a full disc backup of this one, but it has DTS, so I decided to do the main movie only keeping the 5.1 Dolby Digital and DTS audio tracks.

This one had no problematic glitches for me. I ripped it through VOBB to remove all the annoying shit. I then opened Shrink to compress it and then Decyptor to burn. Of course, AnyDVD was running. Perfect as always.

I tried several methods you guys suggested and still couldn't do it. I have ANY DVD running in the background. I used DVDFabdecrypter to decrypt. Someone recommended using Vobblanker, so I gave it a try. Then, I tried to burn it with DVD Shrink.
I also used ANY DVD to decrypt then I also tried with Clone DVD. That failed. I also used DVD Fab Decrypter, vobblanker, and Nero Recode 2, then DVD Shrink. that failed also. Traditionally, when I use DVD fab, then i would use DVD Shrink, but none of them worked. I also tried just moving the movie only, but that didn't help. Any suggestion? I have the latest version of all the software that I have mentioned.
One more question. Vobblanker. How do you use it properly? I followed alkohol's direction, but the direction wasn't so clear about how to use vobblanker. Does it suppose to detect the problematic parts automatically or do I need to check on my own?

What's the error that you're getting? I understand none of the programs are working for you but what is it that's going wrong.
In some instances, VOBB will "skip" cells but I normally go through everything on my own. Anyway, lots of new DVDs include dummy cells that put up roadblocks or take up too much space on the DVD to be copied. Thus, VOBB is invaluable because it can rid these cells. Personally, I go through all the menus and sub-menus and blank everything I don't want. Basically, if it's a trailer for other movies (or in a Sony DVD's case, 12 trailers for other movies), or anything that doesn't have to do with the title, I blank it out.
All the recent Sony DVDs that're released (like Underworld Evolution and so on), they're all like 8 gigs--which would translate into a heavily compressed full disc (I always do a "full" disc backup--I like special features). But after blanking out the 2-3 minutes worth of FBI and commentary warnings, in addition to the abundance of trailers, the final output size was like 6.2 gigs. After removing the foreign audio and subtitle tracks, I think the final compression rate for the entire disc was 68 or 70%--which is great.

@will0711, How old is your PC? What's your processor speed? How much RAM do you have available? Somethings wrong. The combination of programs you mentioned should have worked especially if you were using any of the last three updates with AnyDVD. Vob Blanker works perfect in "Auto Mode" with the acception of removing previews and warning adverts. Keep trying, I guess.:P

I also had the initial problem of no audio on the trailers and special features. The boxes were checked and when I preview them on the lil screen.... no audio. So I go to right mouse click and set the audio to the apropraite audio channel(it was set a 5.1) The preiview screen played with sound. I went to back up and still nada. I used AnyDVD 5963, DVDfab2979, DVD Shrink, Recode2 and all nada. In all combos knon to work.
So I finally got it. When I used AnyDVD Rip it to the HD then Used DVD CLone to open it up and Burn baby Burn. Perfect. Weh n through three Verbs tho. But finally got it.
One of the best Movies to come out lately too.

As usual, Running Scared shouldn't be hard to rip and backup at all. Even FREE tools like DVDFAB Decrypter and DVD Decrypter can rip this easily.
Again, I ripped with DVDFAB Decrypter flawlessly and post process the VIDEO_TS.IFO file through VobBlanker within 5 minutes (i.e. blank out the FBI Warnings, previews/trailers, rating screens/logos and other unwanted junks) and the rest is history.
Best of lucks to all and happy burning.
