My Movie won't Play with CloneDvdMobile

I'm converting Alien vs. predator a 2hr. movie backed up on a DVD5
I'm using CloneDvdMobile 1.1.0.4
I send it to the RIGHT MP_ROOT/............MP4 FOLDER
but when i go to Video/ Memory stick and hit X on the PSP
it says UNSUPPORTED DATA and CANNOT PLAY
DO i need a plug-in or something?
I have firmware version 2.0
now i don't want to backup or boot games off the memory stick, so if this firmware version should play the movie I'd just as soon leave it alone. But please help me.

I wish I could help, but I am having the exact same problem with every movie I try. Have you found a solution to your problem yet???

Make sure you have the THM file as well, thats really important. I noticed it doesn't matter which thm file you use just rename it to whatever your movie name is and you should be good to go.

The name should be something like MV0083.mp4 and MV0083.thm

i havent had much luck with clone dvd mobile so i switched to Nero recode its a lot easier :)

Thanks for responding dusk77. I am still a little lost and don't quite understand what I need to do differently. Also I don't know what a thm file is. Some have said the root file name has to be changed from the default MV10001.MP4 to something different, like MV11111.MP4. Is this true? I have tried to download a movie onto my PSP using all three options available from CloneDVDMobile and still get the same result, "unsupported data." Do you have time to walk me through a few more steps so I can get it right and not waist hours downloading movies that never work? Thank you for your help!!

The thm file is necessary coz thats the thumbnail and its needed for your mp4 to play. Heres what I think you should do:

1. Download the one time setup file from this tutorial: http://psp.connect.com/tutorial.php
2. Delete that mp4 file and rename you're mp4 file to the same name as the thm file in that folder.

Just follow the steps in that tutorial and you should be OK. I think the reaon you're having a problem is b/c CloneDvdMobile doesn't automatically create both the files you need ie mp4 & thm.

Edit: This will only work for fw 1.5 :-)

If you have a version 2.00 you should be encoding in AVC (MAQxxxxx.MP4)
and not the old SP (M4Vxxxxx.MP4).
