bricked PSP?

I was toyin around w/ pspset 0.9 on my v1.5 psp. i was copying the gameboot startup noise but hit the "Home" key and exited. My PSP shut off after a few minutes, but when I boot up my PSP, the power goes on, the lcd screen is turned on, but nothing appears on the screen. After waiting for a few minutes, the PSP shuts off altogether both w/ just the battery and while the ac adapter is plugged in. Knowing my dumbass, I probably bricked the damn thing, I just need confirmation or a possible way to fix this.

well takke the battery out...try it..if not ur not doomed....if its bricked just wait to get the psp modchip and u kill two birds with one stone...

yay! so thanx for the confirmation. i've tried the battery trick, at least, i've taken it out many times prayin that it'll boot up the next time i start it up. i guess the only thing i kan do now is wait for the mod chip......
