I couldnt find a related thread, now this should be forum good. Does DVDShrink work with anything other than Nero. are there other burning roms that will cooperate?

Not that i know of. But you could use CloneDVD 2 or DVD Decrypter in ISO mode or use the new Imgburn program that does the same.

But the only program that DVD Shrink works in conjunction with is Nero.

If your talking about to burn to a DVD,,DVD Decrypter works with
shrink,,you just have to make shure you got it ticked in the settings
for shrink...

To get Decrypter to burn from Shrink, you must set Shrink to "create an ISO file and burn with decrypter"

DVD Shrink will also work with CopytoDVD, the programs are integrated together just like Nero and Decrypter are. You can just choose CopytoDVD as your burn engine and it will automatically burn after Shrink. There is a free trial for a couple of weeks, after that it is pay. Otherwise if it free you want use DVD Decrypter as suggested.

i've been using dvdshrink, and burning with dvddecrypter ever since i've started burning backups. i have never had a problem with this combo, they work great together.

ah gracias. Ill try and check it out in a few. i also posted a thread in the general area about antivirus stuff, maybe you could help me with that too. seems to have gotten out of hand on my comp.
