Guys i need help big time...goes down like this ...do i need umd emulator if i start using devhook?i install devhook and update the firmware but the psp starts again and tell me to press O like when u downgrade it...then when i choose the game the psp crashes in a black screen with some white stripes...and where do i put the isos?
yea, you should have a copy of UMDEMU. You want to choose "Hook Boot" then direct load. Look around in the options menu in DevHook v0.22 if 0.41 doesn't have the option. You also want to use the Daxziso Loader. (Search google) Dax compression compresses your ISOs to a much smaller size. Once you choose direct load in devhook, you'll be able to skip the whole "System Menu" option. For your ISOs, you want to put them in a folder in your ms0 (root of Memory stick) called "ISO". I don't know about DevHook 0.41 as I haven't used it yet, but you can get a lot of good results w/ DevHook v0.22. Also, make sure you have a UMD in the drive for this to work.
@OVVL, huh??? No disrespect at all, but the new dev hook release is not like its prior releases, and u do not have options such as system menu and direct boot it in. Also, dax compressed iso's will not boot, but their is a tool that does the same thing (except is labled as .cso) created just for dev hook .40 and .41.
@brifa visit this forum, we are currently sorting it all out:)
i read it but my psp stil doin the same dont know why?why do i have to press the O button all the time i start the psp? I have to make settings as like check the hours , date my name all that crap b4 i go to the normal psp menu?
No, that is not normal at all. I never have to press o or set times or anything like that. What dev hook package id u download and how did u put it on ur psp?
