I am not sure if this has anything to do with the brand/media of the disc, but here is my issue.
I have these dvd+rw's that i am burning content on, watching on my dvd player, and then trying to burn new content over the disc.
the problem is how can i successfully format these discs so that they can be re-viewed in my dvd player with the new content...
i can format the disc with roxio, and then use roxio to burn a new dvd, but it will not playback in my dvd player from there...please advise!!

? Tough one ! have you tried other brands of media dvd+rw's I 've found the rewritable vs. the recordable media is more prone to become scratched and unreadable sooner atleast with my limited experience ! Perhaps switching to another Brand like Verbatim would help ? Also do you have the problem with only that one Dvd player? perhaps it's your player & not your media Also Booktyping might help if it's a compatability issue ! Good Luck!

I would do a full format instead of quick format when erasing the disc.

Actually I figured it out. Rather than doing a FULL or QUICK Format, it works best to just ERASE DISC in the Roxio Drag-To-Disc option...
no problems after doing it that way..
