Missing file after do-ing some editing

Hi!

I just used VOBlanker to edit my dvd so that i keep a couple of thing in it and remove the director commentary... it creates a couple of file :

-VIDEO_TS.BUB
-VIDEO_TS.IFO
-VTS_01_0.BUP
-VTS_01_0.IFO
-VTS_01_0.VOB
-VTS_01_1.VOB to -VTS_01_4.VOB
and then it jumps to
-VTS_25_0.BUP
-VTS_25_0.IFO
-VTS_25_0.VOB
-VTS_25_1.VOB

Now when i used DVDShrink and try to open the files it says : DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to open file "X:\test\VTS_02_0.IFO

How do i do to correct this error??

I Tried changing the name VTS_25_X.X to VTS_02_X.X...but now the same error pops-back but now says it cannot open vts_03......

I think what you might have done in Blanker is break the logical chain. To fix it you'd likely need to use IFOEdit. The IFO file is likely indicating a link to VTS_02.

If all you want is the main title and the primary soundtrack, imo, it's easier to use DVD Shrink in Re-Author mode to do it. If you want to keep some things and not others, the compression for the things you don't want can be set to "Still Image" in Full Disk mode.

DVD Remake is also a good program if you want to pick and choose among the items you want, including special features and menus.
