I see on this site:
http://www.ps2nfo.com/
that there is a new CiSO converter. With this, you can change DAX>CSO and CSO>DAX and ISO>CSO and etc., etc., etc. What are the benefits if anyone knows? I haven't tried this yet, but I'm all about shrinking ISOs to get them as small as I can. I love teh DAXZISO compressor, but I want more compression. Smaller ISOs? HELL yea!!

Cso is comaptaible eith the dev hook .40 anf .41, thats all. In the few games i have used it with, the compression was slightly better, using 7 as the compression settings, i saved an extra 10 MB's with BoF 3. Dax is great also, but u cant boot .dax in dev hook.

so then .CSO is a better compression tool? Oh, man! That's awesome! Good bye, DAXZISO loader, hello DevHook 0.41. Actually, 0.40 Full version is the one I want obviously, right?
Btw, what's the decompression rate like? Is it choppy sometimes like DAXZISO?

Geez, I don't know what to do -- Bank it all on the new DevHook and go for the better compression or stick w/ DAXZISO which is my fav right now esp w/ the Direct Load from DevHook v0.22 which I understand DevHook v0.41a doesn't have. Plus, DAXZISO runs very smoothly. Screw this rebooting crap! But hey, if it runs coast to coast and splinter cell - Well then, YEA BUDDY!!!
OH yea, the other question I have is this: What is the deal w/ that Select + L Trigger? It sounds like this changes the UMD icon (System Menu) which sounds like it would be even faster than "Direct Load" from DAX or UMDEMU. By hitting Select + L Trigger, you can change the game and then launch the game w/o even going into the "GAME" menu, right? So the only reason you would ever need to go into DevHook v0.41a again is to unmount the ISO... Is this all correct?

Yes, u are correct, and i couldnt have worded it better myself. Although this is all true in theory, many games require different boot settings. I tried switching from Capcom Classics to BoF using that method, but it didnt work/
Please post u r settings for outrun in the new thread i just made, im trying to get the boot settings for all devhook games in 1 thread, ur help would be much appreciated:) Heres the link:

I think I might just say screw it and get both. I know Splinter Cell works, but I would love to be the 1st to figure out Coast to Coast and post my results. :)
I'll see what happens. Peace!
