anyone knows how to add a song in picture?

I always wanna add a song in my picture and send it over to my family so that it would add a little bit more ambience behind the background while they are seeing it. Does anyone know if I'm able to that ? do i need a particular software to do that trick? pls guide guys. Thanks !

You can make like a slideshow or maybe a flash file wtih the picture and music in the background.
Try this gudie, but be aware the pictures will be worse quality and the files much bigger,

Then you can convert to other format to send to family.
Also try windows movie maker.

All you need is a software called ProShow Gold.
Then you can make a slide show with tons of transitions all set to your own custom made sound track. Once done, you can either make into a self extracting file or an mpeg file or a screensaver. it works like a charm for me.
