I live in a crappy city with a lot of crime(Reading,PA usa) and today there was a bike race. Its was boring but I went.
well I checked the news when I got home this cop made me lol Im sorry but I just had to share. (anyone know how I can record this video?)

Also on the bottem of that page there is a story where a man did something nasty to a 3 year old, It says he lives on the same Block as me and I cant understand why I never seen him Before,
lol,and some dumb butt got busted for bootlegging discs
Thats something differnt for this city its mostly just murders

The cop didn't want to pick up an injured bystander, you'd be amazed what happens when two bikes collide and a whole pack slides out of a corner. "I see bloody people"

Thank you for posting, yeah your right, but it was still a little over board, I like how he picked the cone up and moved it about 6 inchs back,
He looked like he was pumped up on drugs, only if the cops worked this hard when a real crime happens this city might be ok to live in,
Also there is not one thing here for the kids to do I mean nothing.
and there wounder why theres so much crime, ever since all the white people moved out the crime and drugs moved in,

what where do you live near,
wow what are the chances of that,
There cant be to many people from Reading on this site.
I dont get out to much to other states/citys but when I do its so weird its just to differnt, I wont ever leave this city it keeps me on my toes.

Heck, if you watch your local news in any state, city or community, the majority of the news is "Doom and Gloom" stories, most involving shooting, stabbing and robbing thy neighbor. Just think that there has always been crime in the cities, always will be, too many people make money off preventing crime, fighting crime, and rehabilitatiing criminals. Look online for Britain's leading newspaper, "The Daily Mail" been running a bunch of stories lately about good samaritains being killed by knives after they tried to help a victim, almost like the Brits are catching up with America. Any sentiments from out buddies across the pond, eh?

Yeah I hear you,
To tell you the truth I never look at world news.
I watch some of it on TV but they dont really talk about anything much other then Iraq,
What I do Know is this place is getting worse.
A Cop just got killed again,
A kid just got killed a block from me at the Park and fell over a Council womens porch/
Dead girl in the river,
Turns out the Child Molester on my Block got to 5 Kids he worked around,
Women got shot investigator said theres so many shell caseing on the street they dont no if there from the crime, Etc.
And the damn Street cleaner Just gave me a 35$ ticket, They did not even post the sign this time,And the street is never Clean they just push the trash around.
This city is a joke, If you look at the History This was a great place to live untill the last set of immigrants came.
Every one please Share you local news! And What they Don't Put in the news,or Just anything your dislike about your city/Town.

Nice to see an active member from Reading,PA! Glad your still alive(lol j/k) But yea a local police officer got shot dead undercover recentley its a mess...And Reading has one of the largest drug rings in the US. If I had a choice I would move.

Charleston, SC - Federal Authorities say they have shut down a major heroin ring. South Carolina is one of seven States in which Authorities made arrests. Here in Charleston 10 arrests, another 10 made in Columbia, also several in Myrtle Beach and Greenville. Federal Investigators say the ringleaders used illegal immigrants from Mexico to smuggle drugs into the U.S. for distribution. Earlier this month, a Federal Grand Jury in Columbia, charged 26 individuals with a black tar heroin conspiracy. On Tuesday, Federal, State and Local Authorities set out across the state to make the arrests.
"Today we have shut down a U.S. distribution of the Sanchez Organization. We've seized their heroin, taken their money and cut off their ability to distribute illegal drugs in this Country," says Asst. Attorney General of the Criminal Division, Alice S. Fisher. Operation Black Gold Rush targeted the trafficking of black tar heroin, an extremely potent and deadly form of the drug, commonly melted down and injected by users.
A series of early morning raids put more than 17 kilograms and more than a half a million dollars in Authorities hands. 138 people have been arrested, including one of two ringleaders. "They pushed heroin by preying on a vulnerable part of our society, recovering addicts and purposely and shamelessly sold heroin in areas of meth clinics," says Deputy Administrator of the DEA, Michele Leonhart. Authorities say the dealers were even willing to deliver the drugs to purchasers front doors. They also offered "buy two, get two free" drug deals to lure in users.
The alleged traffickers are believed to have been responsible for distributing more than 10 kilograms a month, sold at an estimated $3,000,000.

NEW YORK -- Twenty brothels posing as legitimate businesses from Rhode Island to North Carolina were shut down, 31 people were arrested and more than 70 suspected Korean sex slaves were freed from a large human trafficking organization, officials said Wednesday.
The arrests Tuesday capped a 15-month probe that began when a Korean couple who owned and operated a chain of brothels in Queens tried to bribe an undercover New York City Police Department detective, said Julie L. Myers, assistant secretary for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Those arrested on federal charges including conspiracy to engage in human trafficking, prostitution, and conspiracy to transport illegal aliens included brothel owners and managers, middlemen who worked as transporters and individuals who handled the money.

Boeing announced today that the C-17 plane assembly plant in Long Beach, CA (just south of LA) is being shut down, putting almost 6,000 employess and hundreds of cali subcontractors out of business by 2009. just when CA's economy was recovering from the rath of the governator...
