I was going through some news sites and I ran into this neat little mod. A guy mods a slimline with a ps one mobile screen, matrix chip, and controller. This doesn't seem to be a hard mod to do with the right tools.

I wouldn't mind attempting this mod except i would remove the cd drive to save space, and use a laptop harddive with hdconnect. Might be a fun project over the summer :)

thats cool, but id defo go with the hard drive cos wen u move it round the disc will jump, also cudnt see if he had to plug it into a power supply, if so its not that portable, so u cud try gettin sum sort of battery pack for it, love the idea of it tho its great

most likely he used some sort of battery if he was smart, like a lithium ion type used in cell phones that could hold a decent charge and would be small. also easy to recharge when needed.

The video did show him plug into an external bettery, but that was not plugged into anything so it must be rechargable and portable.
A HDD would be a good idea. Wish i was home so i could get sound from the video :(
