Just wait another week for the DL Verbs to go on sale lol.

I think I'm gonna stock up on Verbs. It's been a while (I've been on a TY tip recently).

Last time I bought Maxells at my Staples I too got the Ritek G05's. Which is why I want to pick up a couple of more, they burned really well on my Plex's and my old NEC.

^^ I had that problem with Decryptor once too. Ever since I've abandoned decryptor to burn (and booktype) DL discs.

I'm gonna get those Verbs after work :)

bunnyrip, what are the non-MIJ Maxell 8x and 16x +R's code? Are they as good as Verb or even worth getting?

8x = mostly RitekR03, but i have seen the occasional RICOHJPNR02, both are decent media

16x = much worse off than the 8x DVD+R non-MIJs :PHILIPSC16 or CMC MAGM01 (nothing i would PERSONALLY spend money on, but that's just me)

Catfreak, are they the coloured stacked pack of five containers with 10 discs each? I didn't know Fuji made spindles of 50 (dvd±R or CD-R) anymore that were MIJ (they may not, for all i know).

Also, thanks for the info on the Maxells, doc.

These are the pictures in the ad and this what our local KMart had . . they also had the 16x DVD media in the new-style wrapper and all of them were MIT . . I imagine that they are ProDisc (+R R05, -R F02) . . I bought the last 10 packages of 8x +R and they were all MIJ Ty gems . . they had 'tons' of CD-R MIJ Ty discs and I had to contain myself to keep from buying more than 10 cakeboxes . .

XxRUINSxX- I'm not to familiar with whether or not Kmart price matches but it might be worth checking into .Then you could get them to meet your sale price and then put a boatload of media on lay-away ! so you could spread out the cost over time ! Good luck with your shopping Happy burning & Have fun!

I'm not sure what I could price match to...there are no Sonys on sale anywhere.

While on the topic however...which stores have the price match guarantee?

Which are they, 8x or 16x? Are any of the 16x MIJs TY or just SONY coded (SONYD21 I believe, but still okay media)?
