There are quite a few programs that let you rip audio from dvds into wav or mp3 format. I use ImToo DVD Audio Ripper. You can read about it here:

Now, will this program allow me to add my own music to the dvd?

Dear gnarkills,
After ImToo has done its job, you'll have individual songs in mp3 or wav format. You can then of course add or delete any songs you like to make your own compilation and burn to cd in the regular manner with any program you like. For the latter part, I normally use Nero Burning Rom.

I thanks everyoneone for the help, but I am going to go into this with a bit more detail.

I am trying to take the music off of a movie dvd, and replace it with my own, so when I watch the movie, it will have my music in it. Like, say The fast and the furious. Instead of hip hop, I can change it to rock.

Muvee is a crappy program for this kind of thing. SOny Vegas ROCKS!!

Oh ~~~~~ Sorry for the misunderstanding. For that, I normally rip the music dvd into a popular video format (e.g. avi) with ImToo, then use a video editing program (e.g. Video Edit Magic) to take away the original audio and replace it with a new one.
