ok, ive read about everything to read and im still stuck.
i have 1.5 psp, and a backup of fifa street 2 (881mb) i no longer have the umd as it is broken.
All i want to know is when i install devhook 0.41 which folders do i put onto the mem stick and where? i am confused because do i have to run the devhook update installer first? or just the dvhook program? when i run the update installer it says it cannot find the update file on the umd, or on the top root of the mem stick.(i dont have a 2.5+ umd)
Ive tried all the different settings in devhook and all it does it says start and then turns off.
ive also tried changing the three prx files on fifa with the 3 star wars ones, and when i rebuild the iso its only just under 400mb!
I am really struggling with this as there are so many different threads, and they all seem to contradict each other. All the threads seem to say is change the default settings within devhook, ie cpu speed etc etc.
Am i missing something? how do i get my 1.5 to think its a 2.x?
PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!

For fifa street 2, you DO NOT need to replace any prxs.
Just drag the dh folder to the root and drag the GAME folder into PSP
Now, just launch devhook and use the correct settings and fs2 will run
GL!

The firmware launcher on DevHook 0.41?
I did it anyway just to be sure, but am not sure if its actually needed?

ps, when i reboot and start dexhook again, it goes into auto start, then turns off. How do i get the psp to think its a 2.5 using the update installer when i have no umd that high?

ok.
Heres what ive done.
Put game folder in psp folder.
put dh folder in root of mem stick.
put iso (881mb) in iso folder.
Start devhook and change settings to whatever.
Devhook says start, then goes blank and switches off.

the readme says the fole changes v0.41 to 0.41a, but im now using v0.40 because you told me to. just tried it. no difference. :'(

Restore default settings, then put a fresh copy of devhook on and try it..

that files just a dh folder with a devhook.prx file in it. i understand i put this into the root of stick, but which version of devhook do i use, ie 0.40 or 0.41.

lovely.
Ive loaded devhook version 0.41 and put just the psp/game folder in the root.
Then ive put the dh folder in the root from the link you just gave me, and im now transferring the iso.....

Do i need a umd (2.5) or whatever in the drive?
