Just replaced a new lens for my slim ps2. I run it for only 2 hrs of gameplay and then turn it off as required. For only 3 days, its now indicating "Disk Read Error". By the way it doesnt have any warranty since the lens is only a replacement. What should i do??

what version is your slimline ps two, and do you have any laser coil protection mods installed or mechachon fix applied?

Its ver.12. I have a modbo mod chip earlier version. The original lens lasted for only 500 hours of gameplay. When i replaced it, it got worst...26hrs of gameplay then boooom! thats it. I heard that the lens of ver.12 easily dies compare to other version?
