Question 1. When uploading ISO's to a hard drive what mode do you use to install? There are 3 available...

Question 2. Do you use 28 bit mode or 48 bit in the option screen?

Question 3. Is there a list of games that will definately work with HD Loader 0.7c (the one I most need is Pro Evolution 5 as we play that alot)

q1 = you don't always have to use a mode, you only need to set a mode if the game in question requires it.

q2 = not 100% sure but i think 28bit has something to do with the older hdloader which if i remember right does not read hdd's over something like 120gb were as 48bit reads hdd up to like 300gb. As far as i know switching between 28bit & 48bit should not cause any problems with the games.

q3 = I find http://list.ps2hd.com/ to be the best as it list games that work with hdloader 0.7c

ps

according to the ps2hd list pro evo 5 needs mode 3 to work.

2) Depends on your HDD size (the uppper limit should be 2TB from memory not 300GB)

Yeah I think that's the theoretical limit anyway - there's no way to test that out, but even with my 200GB HDD I have close to 40 games on it, now... 2TB would be a lot of games :)
