My friend is about to pick up a 2.0 psp and is wondering if I downgrade it for him if it will be stuck at 1.5 after. I have searched but could not find anything

uh...

yeah you can upgrade after. and i understand why, it makes it easyier to make music go on the psp. you get the web browser, you can watch movies in different formats.

theres alot of reasons that you would go back and forward on a 1.5 psp.

use the one in wipeout pure, or use fired up browser, but there is no official browser for 1.5 besides those two, or u could try 2ch browser which is homebrew.

Fired Up is pretty good.

why bother using homebrew ie when you can use genuine sony ie on 1.5 fw psp. just use DevHook .41a man it emulate 2.5fw on your 1.5;. Easy to use. PM me if you need help
