PSPGenesis question, please help!

Hi all,

Can anyone please tell me if it's possible to run PSPgenesis on firmware version 2.6?

I am using the SNES EMU Uo_Snes9x_oo2y32 with good success via the GTA - Eloader exploit. (Big thank you to Sudds and others in the howto thread!!!)
I then tried to run PSPgenesis v0.18 through the same route, but i can only get as far as the eloader screen where it asks which EMU i want to use... When i select PSPgenesis, my PSP shuts itself down... :( I have tried placing roms in various places: PSP/GAME/*rom file* - PSP/GAME/PSPGenesis/*rom file* and PSP/GAME/PSPGenesis/PSPGenesis/*rom file* and still does the same thing every time.

I'm really sorry if this is a stupid question, i've only just started messing around with the EMU's on my PSP and have tried to get as far as i can without asking questions on the forum.

Any help would be much appreciated...!

It still may crash, the DJEN,s are all unstable with eloader apart from V0.70 but there is no save state or sound (i think...)but they are the best Megadrive emu,s out there chap.

Thanks very much for the advice Sudds! DJEN v1.20 works great! Few crashes here and there but nothing too bad.

No bother mate! DJEN V1.60 is out and they still havent made compatiable with eloader since V1.30!! :(

Why havn't they made the newer versions compatible with eloader? What reason would they have for not doing it? Could there be some technical prob standing in the way or just lazyness or something?

DGEN isn't compatible with .32x games either is it.. :( Doesnt seem to even recognise the files... Damn...

PSPgenesis is so much better. It sucks it's not compatible on 2.60.

I hear ya mate! I dont know why they havent made any of their latest releases compatible with the eloader...most times the Version 1.00 eboots work, but in this case they dont.
