ok im kinda newb on this forum/site and i need some help.....
The problem of my ps2 is that i can't barely play ps2 original games and when i use swap magic 3.3 it says allayas "not a valid ps2 disc" even with games that worked well b4... :s with the original games it takes like 40 sec to detect the game when i boot my ps2 with the game in it...and sometimes it even says error reading disc...This problem is getting worst day by day...(someday not even original will play?)
and other thing....my ps2 don't detect anymore cd games....original or not...
Any ideas of what it can be?and how to fix it?

ps. my ps2 is old (like 4 years? maybe more dont know)

sounds like ur laser is dying, try cleaning it, if not it might need a new one

thx for the info!
i think a friend of mine have a thing to clean lasers....i may try it..if it not work...ill have to buy a new laser.... :S

no probs m8, ive never cleaned my laser so dont know the procedure, altho it cud do with a clean as i cant play cd games either but i dont mind too much
