Well I've had a nothing but good back-ups until I did Running scared with DVDFab (2.9.7.9) I had no audio on the trailers but Sp. Feat. were OK. I mean the Audio Boxes were all checked (English only). I thought it might have been a wrong press or something. Then Firewall did the same thing, this one had no sudio on the Sp. Feat. too. Now got the same problem with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and 16 Blocks. This has lead me to believe that the problem is DVDFab. I did manage to redo them right using DVDClone with AnyDVD (6.0.1.1) running.

Another thing is when I do preview it on the small preview screen, it does have no audio so I go to right mouse click and set it to the appropriate audio the sound comes on. The oridinal setting is set to the 5.1 signal. Why is this doing this? It has only started to happen when I got the new version installed. I use Shrink, Recode2 and DVDclone using the DVDFab Video_TS file for burning and all the same result. I'm gonna try reinstalling the program but I have only a few DVD+R's left (Verbs) so I'm getting coasters trying to fix this. BTW I do full backups.

NE cody else having this problem?

Try using the DVD Shrink program. I never had any problems with that unless you compress the movie at the highest level "10". If you comress at level 10, from my experience, when the menus appear, the cursor doesn't show, but it is there and everything is still accessible and so is your audio.

I had a similar problem on a couple of movies, on the movie Firewall there is a Superman trailer NO SOUND.....movie plays fine, whats up with that? Used Shrink w/ DVD Region + Css Free...HELP! This could be an issue for all of us.

I really couldn't tell you what could be the cause of the problem, maybe you just can't compress that file completely. My suggestion would be to find out which VOB file that is and copy that directly and compress the rest and then add that VOB file with the rest. Gryph
