I have the pathced version of SFA3 to run with Run UMD, the version without save. How do i convert this to boot using dev hook .40 so i can save? I read that i needed to get the eboot.bin and .boot from another game. Is this right? Anything else i need to do to get it running?

yeh same here, i only just got street fighter working today, you would think that not being able to save on a fighter wouldn't really matter, but this game definetly needs it!

I have found that the release made for RUN UMD will not boot, no matter how u manipualte the iso. Using UMD Gen, i can get it to recognize that all the files form Street Fighter, as is apparatn by the SF logo on the top right of UMD Gen 3.01. Ony problem is the boot.bin and eboot.bin are no good, and i cant find a game that swapping them works.

svtstang - I found this thing on the net called "boot.bin UNpatcher". There must be an app which patches your boot.bin and eboot. hold on a sec... *fetching*

here is something along the lines of what you're talking about. Read this and in the meantime I am going to look for something else.

Ok, I HATE reading a lot of crap so try this. Looks like it's what you need. (PPF-o-matic as mentioned in teh above article) It talks about DVD images (ISOs) and patching ISOs.

I don't know. Try that.

Thx for that bro, but i have givin yp on the runUMD release. There are a couple boot files that are missing, and u have to get them from Worms to get the game booting. Or just get an untouched iso, save the hassle, and have it boot on the default devhook settings. Thx though for the help:)

No prob. Finding a new iso takes a hell of a lot less time then patching the runUMD iso over and over and over.......
