I'm having problems with Pink Panther. My Any DVD said the same thing as yours, but DVD Decrypter gave me an error message at 1%. I/O ERROR Device:[1:1:0}
DVD Shrink also gives me an error message. It states DVD Shrink encounterd an error and cannot continue. Invalid dvd navigation structure. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Pink panther won't work depending on where you got it. If you got it from a large dvd rental chain like blockbuster or netflix it will have sony arcos copy protection on it or a special version just for blockbuster/netflix movie rentals. As of now anydvd and dvdfab have not updated there software to deal with this, so if anyone can help me let me know. Ive tried everything anydvd, dvdfab, shrink and clone.

Where did you get your copy of pink panther JVC? I just picked up another copy from a mom and pop rental store and it copied just fine. The first copy i had was from blockbuster and it wouldnt copy at all. Blockbuster and sony made a deal a few months ago allowing all new sony picture releases being rented out by blockbuster to have a special version of the sony arcos copy protection placed on those disc. So if your having problems, get your rentals from a smaller rental store like hollywood video.

lamar363 - you forgot to mention that you had to rent a copy because your little sister thought your retail was a shiny new frisbee and it got trashed. Surely thats what you meant to put but just forgot, since you know we do NOT condone any sort of piracy here, and discussions of the old "rent and copy" will not be tolerated.

so much misinformation here. there is not a "special" arcoos to netflix and blockbuster rentals. the retail and the rental have the exact same protecton.
the latest dvdfabdecrypter will rip pink panther fine.

jtrobjr i hope you are not sugesting that people get their movies from rental stores and copy them? that is a no no, we only talk about backing up movies that we own not rentals! if you are having problems backing up any of your own movies not the one's that you have rented, you must be using the wrong programs to do the task, myself i use DVD Shrink and dvd region + css free running in the backround, and have yet to find a movie that i could not back up, good luck and happy burnning

I am having the same problem. I used Fab, shrink and decrypter and nothing works!!! DVDFab works but it takes more then 13 hours. Is there anything I can do at this time or do I have to wait for updates on the programs? Any help or advice would be great, thanks all.
