I backed up/copied Glory Road and Get Rich or Die Tryin' and the Closed Captions can't be turned off, even after I go into the options and turn them off. Or is this something to do with newer movies? I backed up/copied Hotel Rwanda and Crash, but didn't see any captions on them. So what could I have done wrong? I didn't touch any settings or toy with any features, so any idea what may be the issue?

I'm not sure if I used DVD Shrink and/or Decrypt to pull the files down and place them on media, but whether it be one or both, the captions are there and can't be turned off.

Try pressing the subtitle button on your dvd remote, to scroll through the different subtitle options. You want to find OFF, or NONE.

If you don't have a subtitle button, look for a setup button (on your dvd remote.) That should have subtitle options, too.
