Burning DVD of Pictures and Powerpoint...for viewing on TV with regular DVD player

I am using Roxio to create picute and power point DVD... it seems to be working for viewing the media on another computer but when I try and view it in a DVD player attached to a TV... nothing. Any help?

What format is it in? Also if it is in dvd compliant format (.VOB or a vcd) then maybe its your dvd media that isnt supported.
