trying to burn movies and running into problem... for instance on chicken little and fun with dick and jane after using dvdfab decrypter and then opening with dvd shrink i hit backup and it won't do it. It will not give me the option to make my backup target device the burner it only gives me the option of going to my hard drive or creating an iso image file. i tried burning a data disc through nero but the dvd player was unable to read it. i have a very high quality dvd player and have never had a problen before. can anyone help me with what i should do

Welcome to aD
What version of Nero are you using? Does your version have Burning Rom?
Shrink will autoburn with Nero as long as you have burning rom.

To burn dvd in Nero - you would use the DVD Video option.

Shrink will also autoburn w/ DVD Decrypter.

unoirok If I am not mistaken fun with Dick & Jane did not have anything special that Shrink only should have taken care of it. Chicken Little is another story. Checkout the search guides for a Chicken Little thread for more info. When DVDFab is done it places the files into a sub folder labeled Video_TS so look for the sub folder and click on it for Shrink to open and work it's magic. You can download AnyDVD and Clone DVD II as they are one awesome combo for doing movies. They give you a free 21 day trial period before you have to purchase. here is the sites for them. I used Fab a until I bought AnyDVD and Clone DVD II

i'm using Nero 6 oem normally i can autoburn using shrink but now it does not let me

It sounds like Shrink no longer sees Nero as being installed.
Nero still sees the burner since you were able to burn what shrink encoding.
Update your Nero to this version if it's not the one you're using - 6.6.0.18 (the last version of Nero 6 to autoburn w/ Shrink)

To check which version you have in Nero's smart start look in the right hand corner for an icon w/ a flame in it. Click on that and it will show which version you have.

Both of these movies have newer protection - Fun w/ Dick & Jane - Sonys ARccOS and Chicken Little - Macrovision but it sounds like you will able to successful back up at least to your hard drive w/ dvd fab decrypter and shrink.
