like i said... my dvd5 rip of gt4 wont play on my newly moddded v14 ps2. can anyone confirm that this is normal? it works fine on my older ps2's so it's not a bad burn... do i need to rip it differently or will it just not work at all on the new v14?

Shouldn't be a problem for the V14 to run if an older PS2 plays it... what chip do you have, what media did you use, what speed did you burn the game?

What does it do?? Doesn't come up with a blinking white icon then go black does it?? If so repeatedly bash "X" until it go's through the opening movie then turn it off it options.

is it a -r or +r disc?

if +R is it booktyped to DVD-ROM?

Some PS2's won't read +r unless it is booktyped
