no because it's a pc app to boost the sound before you move them to your psp. so firmware has nothing to do w/ it.

As explained above... use the software mentioned on your PC to increase the volume and then copy it back to your PSP.

*ggbarnum* Maybe you could do a guide for Acid Pro, some people may find it abit hard to use.

well i did not feel like but ok i guess so um when you download acid 6.0 (get it from torrent spy)soon as the program opens up choose new under file ok now while in acid browse to your music directory or where ever you keep your songs you should see an explorer where you can search for it at the bottom of the program once you find your songs double click one song and it will open up in the top area of the program(you will know what im talking about if you have the program up and running)from there you move your mouse curser up to the side of your song thAt appeared in the top part of acid from there move your curser to the right and it will turn to a pencile icon from there drag the curser all the way to the right until it cant go any more ok now once that is done the long music line you just made with your curser right click on that line and scroll all the way down to insert/remove envelope once there another window will open to the right and choose volume ok from there a small line will appaer between the music line ok now left click and hold and move the line up until it goes to 3.2db that should be enough for the volume pitch ok now move your curser to the left side of acide at the top right corner of the screen where it shows part of the song name and slide the bar on there right next VOL:6.0db and slide to3.0 to 4.0db dont go beyond that or it will be to loud the song ok now once all that it is done go to file render as then name your song or rename to the name it is already because its going to say Untitled then choose the format mp3 audio then choose the quality let me warn you now 96kb is the best way to go in terms of how many songs you want to fit on your memstick because 96kbs makes your music file realy small if the quality is still not good to you go to 128kbs but thats it any thing beyond that will make the mp3 big or to large well once all that is done hit save (best to save it to your desktop) now your done!

sorry for this fast tutorial i just dont have time to make a really good one but i hope this helps

oh yeh if you want to just spend some money so u wont have to go through all this is just by some HEADBANGER EARBUDS those mother F@ckers get really loud with MAD BASS AND TREBBLE and there only made for the psp you can find them at your local game stop or bestbuy but i recamend game stop there about 19.00 they used to be more but i say every PSP owner should have this headphones man if i could just give you my pair right now so you can hear good these head phones are man these headphones are that bad ass i just cant put it in to words hell just go buy some!
